This site is to inform you about the location, time, and service particulars of the informal group of Christian Scientists in East Anglia, based around Framlingham, Suffolk, England.
We currently meet “in person” once a month, on the third sunday of the month. We look forward to welcoming you at the Framlingham, Suffolk, library – starting at 10:30 am (UK time).
(We share this “in person” service by Zoom, but we are a very small church and we use a very simple Zoom setup for these services. Same joining details as our regular Zoom services)
Services (by Zoom) are held at 10:30 am (UK time – currently GMT/UTC) on Sundays, and at 7:30 pm on the first and third Wednesdays of the month when we hold a Testimony Meeting. Meetings are open from about 15-10 minutes before the service starts.
To join our Zoom service the meeting number is: 324-628-0764, and the password is currently: 01728
The Sunday service lasts for an hour, and features three hymns, some readings from the Bible, and some reading from the book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, written by Mary Baker Eddy. There is time for quiet prayer and peace.
A Sunday School in Christian Science can be provided, for children upto the age of 20. This will be held by appointment, by DBS approved members of the Society – we suggest at 11:45 on Sunday after the main service. Get in touch with the Clerk to make arrangements.
The Wednesday meeting is even more informal and features some readings and then some sharing of how Christian Science helps us in our everyday lives.
Our current correspondence address is:
The Clerk, Christian Science Society, Framlingham
Sun House, Hall Farm Lane, ALDEBURGH, England IP15 5GY
Phone: 07 899 639893 (checked for messages from time to time), email: email@example.com
All are welcome, whether you are a long time student of Christian Science, or would like to just to come and listen. Our services are very simple, and require no participation – but we’d be very happy if you sing with us!
Christian Science is the name given to this Christian religion which demonstrates that Jesus’ teachings and healing are as available today as 2000 years ago. We believe in a God of Love, the teachings of Jesus, and the spiritual nature of all reality. Our God is Father-Mother to us all.
Reading Room services can be found at the online UK Christian Science Reading Room.
